Trace

Trace was classically trained in piano from a young age, and took singing lessons when she was a teenager. Although this was helpful, she claims that she never really knew how to use her voice until she was forced to get above the drums, guitar and bass in a small rehearsal room in Stockport!
	At 15, Trace used her keyboard skills to teach herself how to play guitar, and started writing songs at the age of 16. Her lyrical influence is taken from Tori Amos, whose ability to allow a 'flow-of-consciousness' of words throughout a song was very inspiring. She released a solo album at the age of 21, (a project she had been working on since she was 19), a few months after she joined minusoneraver.
